Squiggles elements

In the guidance I offer, I work a lot with the power of visual thinking: squiggles, lines and metaphors. Actually it’s not only thinking: it is a lot of doing and feeling as well.

Besides from this, I use my experience with group dynamics, systemic thinking and (team) coaching to do interventions, excersises and to ask questions that lead to deep insights and to an actual change.

What I do and how I do it makes perfect sense. It’s just what I need to do on this piece of my life path.

My life path

I was born in 1974 in the south part of the Netherlands and I grew up there as the somewhat rebellious youngest daughter of two math teachers. Since I can write and draw, I use that to express my feelings and fantasies. I struggled with finding my life path while I studied marketing, media & information management.

In 2000 I lost my father, I shortly lost the meaning of life because of that and I somehow managed to get back on track. I worked as project, account, team and operational manager at agencies until my fourties. Specially in my time as operational manager I bumped into the challenge of group dynamics. I found love, lost it, found it again and built a family.

In 2015 I started my own firm Schetswinkel, where I trained thousands of people in visual and creative thinking. I gained extensive experience in visual facilitation of teams, helping them to align on and across strategic, tactical and operational level.

Driven by curiosity, I dived into team coaching and became even more passionate about personal growth and leadership. During COVID I launched an online creativity gym with e small group of likeminded trainers. I lost my mother in 2021, lost and found myself and reshuffled my focus.

Recently I separated from the father of our two teenagers, I bought a beautiful houseboat in Leiden, tried out dating apps and created this website.
